  8. After stirring the veggies nice for 3 to 4 minutes. Add a tsp of the ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and stir it nice with the veggies.

  10. Then add salt to taste, tsp of turmeric powder and jaggery. Again stir this for 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Then add to this the Basmati rice and again stir a minute or so.
  12. To this add 2 bowls of water. Use the same measure of the bowl you had taken for rice.
  13. Cover this with a steel plate. Do not use the pressure cooker lid. Add liitle bit of water on the lid.
  14. When you see the water evaporating and steam coming open the cover and check.
  15. If you see water still inside the rice. It means you have to cook a bit more.
  16. Then again put the lid. In 2, 3 minutes you will see steam coming and smell the fragrance.
  17. Switch off the gas and let the pulao cook in its own moisture.
  18. After 5 minutes serve with with a spoon of ghee and garnish with coriander leaves.
