- Soak moong dal for 15 minutes. Chop all vegetables, make ginger garlic paste, cut green chillies in small pieces
- Keep earthen pot on gas. Heat the oil, then add mustard seeds when it splutters add cumin seeds, asaefoetida, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste. Saute for 1 minute. Add onion saute again. Add tomatoes and carrot
- Saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Add remaining vegetables capsicum & green peas
- Remove water from moong dal then add soaked dal in pot, add dalia in dry form, roast it for few minutes
- Add all powdered spices such as cumin coriander powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder. Add salt as per taste
- Add 3 cups of water and stir it. Pour lemon juice. Cook it. When water starts reducing cover the lid
- Cook completely. Garnish with grated coconut & ghee.Enjoy hot
