- Wash amla and green chili very well and dry it with kitchen towel
- Cut amla and chilli into small pieces..
- Heat a thick kadhai or pan add mustard oil. Keep the flame on low and add hing, ajwain, jira, methi, sarso, kalonji and saunf - mix and stir all for 1 minutes then add powder masala haldi, kasmiri mirch and amchur mix all well, make sure spices should not burn… then add chopped amla- chilli pieces and salt again mix everything…
- Cover pan /Kadhai with lid and in low flame cook for 15 minutes or until amla pieces become soft. - Stir 2-4 times in between.
- Delicious amla Pickle is ready. - Store it for 15 - 20 days in refrigerator.
