  1. First in a bowl add all ingredients along with Cup of water and soak for at least 4-5 hours or overnight.
  2. In a saucepan add sugar and water, stir until sugar dissolved completely and let it come to a boil.
  3. Add all soaked ingredients in the blender jar along with gulkand and blend until paste.
  4. Now add blended mixture to the sugar syrup, stir and mix well.
  5. Let it boil for 2 mins on medium heat. switch off the flame and let it cool on the room temperature.
  6. After cooling, fill this thandai syrup in a bottle and refrigerate to store.
  7. For making thandai - add 2 tbsp of thandai syrup in a glass of chilled milk,mix well, garnish with some almond - pista flakes, some rose petals and serve.
